Humans looking something for nothing and easiest way out!
From the beginning of time, humans have spent their lives in pursuit of divine name and knowledge. Reciting their respective divine’s name (El, Elohim, Lord, Yahweh, God, Allah, Hari Rama, and Hari Krishna) invokes magic, false miracles and fulfills human’s dreams? Humans always eyeballed something for nothing and an easiest way out with magic of words or a magic of wand. 2nd Gospel of John– “In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God. He (Jesus) was in the beginning with God”. John the Baptist made it murkier with addition of; “and the word was made into flesh and dwelling among us (reference to Jesus as word)”….meaning this Word became “flesh” in the physical body of Jesus Christ. Only the preachers, Popes, and John the Baptist could understand this holy baffling language; but not a regular Joe. It’s a bit of a hodge-podge theory, created by defenders of the faith, to assert that their particular Messiah, Jesus, and their particular religion, Christianity, is truly original and better than the rest. Muslim Face book pages are jam-packed with words like Mashallah (It is used as an expression of respect, and also serves as a reminder that all accomplishments are considered by Muslims to be achieved through the will of Allah) , Alhamdulillah(All praise is due to Allah) , and Subhanallah (Glory to God” — this phrase is often used when praising God or exclaiming awe at His attributes, bounties, or creation). The response on Face book pages to a cute baby picture, wonderful holiday, birth day, wedding day or even a divorce day is a curveball to these few generic words! Do these words really signify anything? Do they have any bearing on the event? Or is it a one word scriptural blessing from here to eternity? Gnostic dedicated their lives to find secret name of God; believed whoever could shout it out would be granted his request “at once”. It is ironic that none found the secret name of invisible entity and never granted their request. So they moved to the next excursion but the search and importance of His name continued. Muslims recite “Allah-u-Akbar” (Allah is great) as a holy ritual of humble gesture to Allah during various performances of the day. But Islamic Extremists shout this phrase, grotesquely enough, prior to committing acts of barbarism; the emotional cry of “Allahu-u- Akbar” precedes the thundering burst of machine guns, bombs, and missiles. In the oppressed, depressed, and frustrated Muslim world the biggest help and faith lies in the call of “ Allah- u- Akbar”, God is great. Question is; are you making the scream of “Allah- u- Akbar” because you are poor, frustrated, and oppressed, OR these repeated screams of “Allah- u- Akbar” have diligently placed Muslims in this state of poverty, depression, oppression and ignorance? Most of the western world has already passed the present stage of third world few hundred years ago. Another form of easy and free grants is through the recitation of few words of prayers; Surah 22:40: “God will aid those who aid His cause.” There is nothing noble about this aid from God who expects something in return. It sounds a lot like the common saying, “You scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours.” It seems as if prayers are about as useful as these common clichés. Unanswered most of the time, prayers are like the throw of the dice on a craps table in Vegas. Religious persons have registered gambling to be a bad thing. The evilness of gambling entails in its refusal to face the probabilities and be steered by them. Probabilities of religion/prayers are worse than the probabilities of gambling. Probability is the measure of likeness that an event will occur. A gamble of coin toss, two outcomes are considered; 50% chance of either head or tail. Religious belief and prayers are a form of gambling and the probability in religion/prayers is neither head nor tail; but only an unconvincing promise and hope for Heaven or a burning in hell. Those who have gambled with a hope on prayers, their heads will sustain in a limbo till the last judgement day; and wait for coin to fall without any substantial results!
